Do you think Haymon makes these fights on an app called random fight generator.

 

Weird card. Local dude Marcus Upshaw is fighting a quasi-prospect, hope he gets the win. Love-Escelara, ugh, no thanks. Vazquez-Omotoso is an interesting one. The main event, not a big fan of Rances, but does DeMarco stand much of a chance? What are his highlights besides losing every round then stopping Linares, and that weird stoppage of Molina Jr.? I don't know but I'm def watching em all.

 

The fights Haymon seems to make seem to do little for the guy who wins it, and about 10 steps back for the loser.

Last night, nobody really cares that Porter won, and Broner marketability is now in tatters.

So rather than Porter v Broner, Thurman v Collozo, Paulie v Garica, instead have done Porter v Thurman (in a full welterweight contest), Paulie v Collozo (in a battle of over the hill veterans that could happen in Brooklyn) and Broner v Garcia (which would do bigger numbers than Broner v Porter, and the winner may actually gain something)

No wonder Eddie Hearn is schooling Haymon
