Nah, those names try and do too much...if I'm thinking along the right lines of names that is.

Kid Blast is neither a kid nor a blast. Kinda like the old peanut conundrum.

    Round 1

Barthelemy is sticking the right jab, switching to orthodox and flinging the left jab out casually at long distance. DeMarco is dialing in the left hand lead up top, waiting for openings, firing just a split-second too late to consistently make contact. Barthelemy is using his height advantage and making DeMarco lunge while easily raining jabs at him in a deliberately slow pace, with a few long body touches mixed in.

    10-9 Barthelemy

This won't be even half as good as the co-feature.

Cobrita Gonzalez is a perfect choice for Carl Frampton's US TV debut. The Jackal is going to mesmerize audiences with that style match-up, and honestly, Cobrita isn't a bad fighter so he'll get some cred from the real diehards too. Not a ton, but some.

Anyone saying Gonzalez is a nobody is exposing themselves as casual.

    Round 2

Barthelemy is starting out right-handed, working the long jab and slouching back with his weight on whichever happens to be his rear foot. Barthelemy is baiting DeMarco with jabs with his lead arm low. DeMarco is lunging in with the left hand lead and getting countered. 1-2 by Barthelemy.

    10-9 Barthelemy

    20-18 Barthelemy

I think he can be reasonably exciting and impressive if the opponent is willing and the fight is significant.

Both criteria are being met today.

    20-18 Barthelemy
