I think he knew it was vacant but was just assuming they were going to say Garcia's name and raised the hand prematurely.

DSG has some devastating hooks. I wonder if Khan will actually fight him again. If I were him I'd just go for Brook which should be a bigger payday. If you're going to get knocked out at least make sure it fills your pocket.

Reiss was ok. You don't just be a B side in a fight and win the WBC belt without a knock out. Old fox knows how it works.

I know Brook vs. Khan is a big domestic cash pile in the UK, but more lucrative than a Garcia rematch (+ the green belt for good measure even if the raw dollars tilt in favor of the Brook match-up)?

Khan will get at least 5m fighting Brook. He won't make anything close to that vs Garcia.

 

I pick Khan to beat him in a rematch. Virgil Hunter can correct his mistakes and make an effective game plan but not overly offensive.

 

I had it 7-5 or 8-4 Garcia. Garcia was the crispier puncher, the harder puncher, and landed the showier shots. When Guerrero mauled, he won rounds, when he gave Garcia a little space, he was getting picked apart. Guerrero wasn't going to win that mid distance fight. He needed to be on Garcia like an Octopus. For whatever reason he wasn't, in most rounds. That is where he lost the fight.

The Mansour vs Brazeale fight was good. Very disappointing to see Mansour quit on his stool. I know he will catch some flack for that, as many fans haven't experienced a broken jaw, and were expecting a physical specimen and ex con to have a bit more mental toughness, especially seeing as how some boxers have finished fights with more grotesque breaks then what he had. He may have been able to get Brazeale out in the next couple rounds if he fought smart. I don't really care to see him on tv at heavyweight again. He's too small, has horrible stamina, and no discipline.

the Vazquez vs Martinez fight sucked.
