Well...yeah. But most of Hurd's other opponents did, too. But few of them were able to meet Hurd in close like J-Rock did.

 

The fix was in.... J-rock put a clinic on so they couldn't rob him. Glad he took it out of those corrupt morons hands.

 

Looks like Rafael had Hurd winning.

 

That was one of those fights that you hate to see end because everything after that just doesn't live up.

Big time. Really nice performance from a really likable guy. Hurd didn't do badly though and you gotta like a guy who at least made a point of fighting solid contenders and titleholders more often than not.

 

5 rounds to Hurd is just crazy.

 

Hurd just gets hit too much and I knew all it took was a disciplined fighter that could hold his own inside stood a good chance of beating him.

 

Yeah, I will say that it's the concept of Hurd that annoyed me (the insane weight games) much moreso than Hurd himself. Package his heart, level of competition, and willingness to fight the best on to more fighters and the sport would be better for it.
