    I’m not a Haymon fan per se, but I doubt he will screw J-Rock. PBC still controls the belts plus J-Rock’s interview should open some doors.

    1. He thanked Haymon.
    2. He offered Hurd a rematch...in Philly.
    3. His words about Brenda Hurd were some of the classiest post-fight comments I’ve ever heard, up there with Arguello’s comments about Ray and Lenny Mancini.
    Shout out to Tony Harrison for his prediction that Williams would pull it out.

    I gave Hurd 2 rounds and had one even. All I can say about Hurd is that the sucker can take a punch. He took brain damaging shots over and over. Williams can fight. Happy to see the right guy win after Koborev was robbed again.

    Excellent fight and kudos to the heart, determination and conditioning showcased by both fighters.Hurd may never reclaim the championship, but his decision to live at home has certainly put him in a advantageous position both financially and emotionally.

    Can still unify under PBC if Charlo gets the belts back but they done the work for it to be Hurd didn’t they, invites to the ring etc.

    I hope Hurd doesn’t take the rematch and retires.

    A new trainer isn’t likely to make much difference. Hurd should go for the immediate rematch and immediately retire. If he wins, he leaves the sport with no unavenged defeats. If he loses, he saves himself from further punishment.

    I'm glad this low skilled marauding weight bully finally got OFFICIALLY exposed. Made 154 look like a joke. Sorry but he's not a top level fighter. Powerful and durable sure. But he's looked crap in every top level fight he's had for a reason.
