Seemed an easy fight to score, Aleem came back well at the end when Korobov was exhausted. Korobov is so deliberate in how he fights in spells, didn’t want to go in for the kill when he had him stunned. Awful gas tank, he’ll struggle to win a world title - his chance has gone.

 

I mean, there were a couple of close rounds in terms of punches landed over the first seven and I thought Aleem won the last three, so a draw card isn't completely out of the realm of possibility...But I thought a 96-94 or 97-93 card for Korobov was a more appropriate score.

96-95 was a little weird. You don't get too many even rounds scored in boxing these days.

 

Which commentator? PBC commentators on the main broadcast all scored the fight for Korobov.

 

Story is he lost to a 36 year old fair and square despite the cuck judges clearly being in his side.

 

His gas tank will definitely let him down. He actually had more in the tank against Charlo in the later rounds than he did here against Aleem in the last two rounds.

Korobov is 36 after all and has allegedly abused alcohol; He'll school you for six rounds than fade. I hope he at least gets one good payday before going off into the sunset, he's been around the sport for a long time. He at least deserves a retirement check.

Me too. I took a flyer on Williams at +500. But yeah, Hurd should win late after maybe being down on the cards.

 

You don't know how to score a fight then. Aleem won 9-10 clearly. Korobov pretty much won 1-8 all clearly.

 

Hurd will destroy J-Rock.
