    Round 4

Santa Cruz is starting to get countered without issuing a receipt now as Rivera darts in and out, feinting with a double jab and then popping off his shots rapidly before hopping away. Rivera is getting impaled on a few jabs as he sallies in but is by and large getting past Santa Cruz's outstretched left and tagging him with impunity. Rivera getting inside and bossing it with chopping rights behind the jab, and stepping out with hooks. Santa Cruz throwing more but getting blocked at middle distance. Santa Cruz not jabbing as much now, as he knows it gets him countered.

    10-9 Rivera, close

    39-37 Santa Cruz

LSC is really the Antonio Margarito (minus the bricks in his gloves) of the FW division. He throws a ton of punches, doesn't have great power, can take a shot, and not very slick.

I was pretty surprised when Jimmy Lennon basically quoted the same stat in the intros. Shows how ****ed up boxing is.

    Round 5

Santa Cruz is jabbing to hold Rivera off, no longer allowing him the lane to hop inside past the jab, having made the small adjustment of now dropping his shoulder in toward his center to fold himself over like a chalupa. Rivera still trying with combos in bursts, stepping in and out, but having less success with them now. Santa Cruz has rediscovered his timing with the jab on the outside and is landing a higher percentage of it, along with the slapping body shot frenzies up close.

    10-9 Santa Cruz

    49-46

Round 3 Santa Cruz 10-9, close
Round 4 Santa Cruz 10-9, close

The first and 4th could have easily been Rivera rounds, and the 5th he landed the more meaningful punches.
