Round 1 Kriel 10-9, incredibly close

Back and forth throughout, Licona landed the cleaner shots and ended the round with a nice flurry, but the non stop workrate an accuracy of riel edged it ever so slightly. Round could go either way.

Same scenario as the first, Licona picking and landing the better shots, but Kriel with the volume edges another close one. His rhythm is awkward and somewhat herky jerky in and out rhythm is giving Licona some issues.

Great shot of the ring girl dipping low sticking her ass out getting out of the ring, while sappy mariachi music plays.

Another hard to split one, although less so than the first two, Licona has dialed in his sweeping counter left hook, but Kriel is popping him with the ab incessantly and shooting quick machine gunner like one twos, peppering his face with the consistently, Licona finishes with a big flurry of looping overhands, but once again, volume edges it to Kriel.

    Round 4 Kriel 10-9

First clear round, Kriel has got in a groove, doubling and tripling up on the jab, follow up with fast sharp right crosses, mixing in the occasionally uppercut, defending well rolling with Licona's counters. Pretty dominant round for Deejay.

Closer than the last one, but Kriel's level of activity and accuracy exceeded Licona's once again, he's circling the ring landing 2 and 3 pnch combinations, then Licona digs a counter left hook to the body, his one to Deejay's 3 and 4.

Licona picked u the pressure and started letting his hands go, getting through with some eye catching overhands that snapped Deejay's head back, but Deejay remained composed, and still managed to outwork him with non stop 3 and 4 punch combos to the face, hooks to the body, overhands, upjabs and uppercuts.

I had a feeling the Barriga match due to him being a southpaw may have flattered Licona, I was right. Sometimes guys can deal with southpaws better than they can orthodox fighters. Its rare, but it happens.

Easy Kriel round, he's doubling and tripling up with the left hooks to the body and following up to the head, tossing in jabs overhands and one twos, Licona offered little resistance, this one was very one sided.

Licona lunging in more, giving it a go, Deejay clobbering him to the face with combos, and one twos, Licona's snapping Deejay's head back with the jab, Licona trying for left hooks up top, Kriel catching them on is gloves, Licona far more active, but Kriel more active and more accurate, and now starting to set down on his shots. Licona flurry at the end tightens it up, but not enough.

This match is almost a less voluminous retread of the Santa Cruz-Rivera match, only less dull, with a little more craft.

Better from Licona, he's really going for it now, letting his hands go, landing overhands, but still, Deejay with the sharper more compact and accurate shots edges it towards him. Although a slight argument could be made for Licona in that one.
