    Round 4

Jiménez is starting to break up Figueroa's easygoing rhythm on the outside, snapping a sharp double jab out from the chest, still firing it side-out and filling in the gaps with hard left rips on the belt line. Jiménez manages to clip Figueroa with an uppercut zeroing in unseen, surprising and hurting the lanky Mexican. Figueroa tries jabbing him at bay, and ends up having to cede ground as Jiménez keeps wending his way in.

    10-9 Jiménez

    38-38

There's going to be Cuban glass all over Arena Riga this weekend, courtesy of Latvian law enforcement.

    Round 5

Jiménez is jabbing the body and backing Figueroa up. Figueroa is switching from orthodox to lefty as he circles wide around the ring. Long jabs by Figueroa getting ducked. Nady having to break up brief scrums inside and warn for low blows here and there. Jiménez is chasing ineffectively for most of the last minute, but Figueroa is mounting very little offense while doing the four corner tour.

    10-9 Jiménez, barely

Closest round so far, I think Figueroa edged it. Jimenez's cup is very high Nady needs to layoff with all these warnings he's gonna corner himself into having to take a point for borderline shots that wouldn't be low if Jimenez's cup was the right height.

    Round 6

Jiménez is shooting a line drive right hand into Figueroa's chest, doubling up on it and skewering him into the ropes. Figueroa manages to finally back Jiménez off with a solid left cross, taking a moment to plant his feet and draw it all the way back, nocking and loosing the arrow while Jiménez runs blindly in. Long clinch against the ropes. Jiménez working the body, jumping in place and scraping at the belly with his left, palm turned upward. Figueroa is backing up and lands a check hook as Jiménez is dusting the body with both hands. Pot shot jabs by Figueroa on the outside, dancing around. Chopping right by Jiménez stepping in, partially blocked.

    10-9 Jiménez, close again

    58-56 Jiménez

58-56 Figueroa on my card I can see a draw here. Very entertaining fight between two young promising undefeated prospects.

I've disagreed with the commentators on the fifth and sixth (as has Pinoy), not sure what they were calling at times, saying Jiménez was being touched more at moments when Figueroa literally wasn't even throwing anything (nor had been, for a while), very confusing. They were close rounds, as Jiménez wasn't particularly effective to distinguish himself and capitalize on Figueroa being gun shy, but I did think he edged them on hustle.

It'll be an unfortunate blow to whoever the loser is, no longer having the zero to further their career prospects, but neither man's stock really drops tonight. Good effort both ways.

I seen Figueroa landing what he wanted when he wanted, while Jimenez merely stalked the last 2 rounds. I have it on mute so no idea what the commentators were saying.
