Yes. He's tough and he can bang but he ain't going far at all with zero defence.

HW's who aren't complete **** should usually get priority, especially someone of Dychko's pedigree... Not like he was competing with a card full of big draws.

Eh, that might be pushing it for me (I'm far more leery of bad heavyweight match-ups, which by no means have to involve bad heavyweights), but certainly 2-time Olympic medalists with bad-ass records in the amateur s (I'd say winning 181 in 199 bouts qualifies) with pro-friendly styles you'd think would be the kind of thing you'd want to put on to guarantee repeat viewers. Especially in these early-career squash matches where guys like him look preternaturally beastly.

I missed Pascal last fight. A page a Quebec's boxing history was turned. Respect to a great warrior who fought a lot of champions Diaconnu, Dawson, Froch, Bute, Kovalev, Hopkins. What a run, a really few elite fighters can say they had a run like that. Heck, even GGG didn't have quite a run yet.

Elbiali's defense has always been mediocre and we saw tonight his stamina is bad. He took some good shots and proved he has a decent beard but unless he tightens his defense he is limited. Personally, I think he was telling his corner in between rounds he wanted to quit because he was gassed and his corner was saying no way, gut it out. In the back of Elbiali's mind he was thinking about another Arab fighter, Mago, and didn't want to end up like him. He didn't appear to feel right, so they were smart to throw in the towel.

If this is it for Pascal a pretty good fight to go out other than the first round he clearly won every round. This maybe elevates Eledier Alvarez' stock slightly.

Pascal was the first to Beat Chad Dawson. Pascal fought everyone. He fought everyone He went to England to fight froch in a fun fight that he did lose. he was took on the Local fights Won vs bute won vs Diaconu in quebec battles. He called out Kovalev TWICE. He fought Hopkins twice in draw that many felt hopkins just won he took the rematch. He was never the best but he WAS the man to beat at 175lbs at one point in his career and that's something that not a lot of boxers get.
