Nice job by the judges. Perfect array of scores there. You could argue two for Ruiz, and you could argue the clean sweep for Santiago.

"Beaver" isn't a puncher but he does have an engine, decently quick hands, and very high ring IQ. He could be a real contender at super bantam.

Kevin Newman II should be in action now, but FS1 launched into Fox Sports Live directly after the Santiago vs. Ruiz scorecards were read...

    Check for updates on Twitter.

Just rewound and listened to Mayweather - he was pretty harsh on Santiago...

Mayweather thinks he "slugs" too much because of his MeXian background. I thought he boxed and slugged just as much as was necessary to keep Ruiz from ever gaining a foothold.

You'd think Santiago was behaving like Margarito the way PBF was dogging him (and he is his promoter!)

Props to Shawn Porter for giving some credit to Santiago for the scientific things he was doing even in the midst of the constant violence.

    Would love to see:

Julio Ceja (SBW) vs Alexis Santiago (BW)

or hell, maybe Hugo Ruiz (SBW) vs Santiago

    I just got poisoned.:-(

I have my backdoor to my house open since its around 74 degrees and its lovely out, its been open all day, and as I'm sitting on the computer the ******* in the mosquito gassing truck went by blasting the neighborhood with pesticides and before I had a chance to close my door the breeze blew it right into my house.:verysad

Remember, Manuel Avila straight shut-out Ruiz. It wasn't competitive. You have to take that into account. Loved the fight, but I don't think Santiago is a legitimate contender. Even though Santiago was the favorite, I predicted it would be a tough fight because I didn't think Santiago was a level above Ruiz.

SBW is a bit too talented right now, especially with very good prospects like Avila, Vargas, and Magdaleno.

Kevin Newman II (who is trained by Jeff Mayweather) defeated fellow unbeaten prospect Cory Dulaney via KO in the walkout bout, not aired on FS1.

Seems like a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders and some real discipline. It would be great to see the footage should it come out.

This was pretty close to a shutout itself. (despite how entertaining it was)
