    Round 6

Hernandez is backed up by Trout's jab. Trout comes in with a 1-2 on the body and ends up pushing his fists into Hernandez, nudging him off-balance. Hernandez tumbles, correctly ruled a slip. Hernandez is raked across the bridge of the nose by Trout's jab. Left uppercuts and right hooks on the body up close by Trout. Hernandez is winging big right hooks leaping in and missing. Trout is countering with fast looping body combos. Hernandez down from accumulation. He stays on all fours.

    TKO6!

Yeah, Garcia's leopard print fetish ruins pretty much everything, including the tried and true black and red combination. But Trout's more tasteful attire suits him, and served as a punctuation to a pretty good performance.

Julian Williams couldn't do what Trout did tonight that was pretty impressive. Hernandez went the distance with him.

That's two straight Cubans overmatched Cubans Trout has stopped in the 6th round. Damn Trout, the Lara loss consumes you doesn't it?

Williams in a wheelchair does a better job than this heavybag.

Three stoppages in a row for Trout. Hernandez was stopped just once before, five years ago by the solid Ed Paredes.

Luis Grajeda had never been stopped before.

Add the Galarza retirement and coming off the canvas to beat Dawson, and 2014 & 2015 have been pretty good rebuilding years for Trout. He should be close to getting back in with the real players, with two years of paying his dues at this level.
