Plant has all the makings of a star - talented SLICK white american fighter - showy and confident - tragic family story - trains at mayweathers gym
they said he was from tenn. I thought he would fight here and i could see in person. but he is really a vegas guy.
we dont get many guys from Tenn. last i remember is big john tate, and jerome coffee. and that was decades ago. so im pulling for him.
I've seen him fight quite a few times including this one and last night. my opinion wasn't based on last night's fight either. It was pedestrian.
he pretty nice, got some skills. he can loose the showboat not necessary. people can see what you have no need for that. Like what i see so far.
He pops up at The Nashville games (NHL/NFL) every now and then or he did a few years ago anyway. My co-worker knows I am a boxing fan and asked me about him but at the time I had not seen or heard of him TBH:blood I think he is from the outside of Nashville like Murfreesboro or maybe Labanon, TN
This was one of the funniest and entertaing RBR based on participation with the Led Zepplin jokesthumbsup
Plant will be a fun TV fighter in the mix for probably a couple of years, but I'm not holding my breath for him to ever be elite, based on anything I've seen.
He is decent but an elite fighter would pick him apart at the moment:deal Right now his competition is on average a "D" fighter IMO and his showboating is the best part of his two fights that I saw; however, last night he kept it (showboating) to a minimum but still stuggeled to put a guy away who was again D level at best:hey
:good My impressions based on previous times seeing him. I can't speak to last night's performance, and can't even really extrapolate anything from the result on paper as off the top of my head I'm not sure I'm even familiar with Juan De Angel in terms of his quality as an opponent.
