    Round 5

Méndez is covering up as Redkach bears down on him with some chopping blows inside. Redkach stays on top of Méndez, causing him to lean to one side and crane his neck downward. Redkach lands several chops on the side of Méndez's skull. Méndez is able to slink out of the pocket and regain control with his left jab. Nice right sneaking around the guard by Méndez. Redkach winds up, misses, and gets dinged. Clinch. Méndez is standing in, squaring off within reach of Redkach but alternating between high guard and shoulder roll to make him miss & pay. Méndez boxing beautifully right now. Wide right hook by Redkach, missing.

    10-9 Méndez

    50-44 Méndez

    Round 6

Méndez is laying against the ropes as Redkach ducks and swoops in with high right jabs and heavy battering-ram lefts. Méndez is able to slip and parry most of Redkach's shots and keep the pace calm by tiptoeing around with timely steps, but Redkach is becoming more effective with his aggression, touching him more frequently. Redkach is trotting in sidelong, lancing out a double jab. BIG knockdown by Redkach at the bell with a glancing left on the cheek, except the ref claims it wasn't...

10-9 Redkach (arguably should be a 10-8, but what can you do..)

    59-54 Méndez
