PBC on FS1: Ivan Redkach vs. Argenis Méndez RBR

Round 7

Méndez is getting drilled into the ropes as Redkach doubles his jab, now thrown more sharply, following up with a plunging left cross on the navel. Méndez is carrying both hands low and drawing the well-pail to slap with a left hook while pivoting around Redkach. Méndez leans between the ropes to avoid some punches and Raul Caiz Sr. tells him to get back in bounds. Méndez scores a couple of light jabs on the face and ties Redkach up. Shoeshine at the stomach by Méndez before clinching and stepping around Redkach, passing on the left. Redkach squares up and darts in & out with double jabs and big left crosses.

Round 8

Méndez is keeping his right fist lying on his lead hip. Redkach is pecking with the right jab and hammering in with the left. Méndez calls up the elevator to counter with a few jabs, but is getting outworked. Méndez is down from a cuffing push slash rabbit punch. Caiz says it wasn't a knockdown, and on this one is correct. Very low volume from Méndez, but he isn't landing much of the jabs he does throw, either. Redkach missing a lot but pouring it on.
