PBC on FS1: Miguel Flores vs. Mario Briones & Ahmed Elbiali vs. Andrew Hernandez RBR

Round 3

Elbiali is stomping after Hernandez, batting down at his jabs with his own left glove and then clubbing with the right, hitting mostly shoulder. Hernandez very busy with the jab, showing constant lateral movement, a bit fleeter-footed than Elbiali and thus able to make him expend most of his energy in pursuit, taking a bit of steam from his punches when he is finally close enough to unload, making them just a bit slower and giving Hernandez more room to evade and counter with jabs. Nonstop pressure by Elbiali but Hernandez is starting to get into a rhythm boxing and moving, and coming over the top with some surprise right hands off the rear hip that give Elbiali pause.

Round 4

Elbiali is trading jabs with Hernandez pressing forward, both shooting on a ramp and breaking upward. Elbiali switches to some more leveled jabs straight at the chest, doubling them and then whirling around the right hand. Quick step back and high forehead-shaving jab by Hernandez. Elbiali still a step behind. Hernandez is popping lead rights with his back resting on the ropes as Elbiali comes in throwing rainbow rights buried into the side of Hernandez's neck. Hernandez missing the jab wide or coming up short with it as Elbiali jerks his neck back to slip it while coming forward. Clinches as Hernandez misses the right and falls in.

Round 5

Elbiali is doubling jabs and hurling uppercuts into the ribs of Hernandez, or clubbing him behind the ear as he bends forward. Hernandez is throwing feebler jabs and overhand rights on the backfoot now, his punches getting picked off in midair as Elbiali slaps his gloves aside to continue working. Body thumping by Elbiali, muscling Hernandez into the ropes. Cuffing right hand on the nape of the neck by Hernandez jumping into Elbiali.
