Nah. It should be, as IMO 12-rounders always ought to outrank 10-rounders, but PBC does this a lot. They always put the "biggest name" in the main event, whether a title or anything significant is at stake or not...even at the expense of actual world title bouts (some of them competitive and with a high combined level of ability) getting dissed with second or even third billing.

Prieto's frame type looks like it would tire him rather quickly.

    Round 1

Alvarez is jabbing and turning Prieto. Long fencing duel with the jabs. Prieto is changing directions, staying outside, hands down, baiting Alvarez. The jab of the Colombian is penetrating with slightly more regularity but only making glancing contact with Prieto's bangs. Sudden overhand right by Prieto in an exchange, rocking Alvarez onto his rear heel and causing him to wobble on a single leg a moment. Prieto steals it.

    10-9 Prieto

I don't knot what it is about Alvarez, he looks technically impressive but something is just lacking.

    Round 2

Alvarez is more careful now, keeping a high guard and sliding in and out with controlled movements as he throws his left jab. Alvarez dips side to side and rushes in to clinch. Prieto is catching jabs on the inner arm, waiting to pick his spots. Jab-feints pumped out by Prieto, committing to nothing. Alvarez is ducking and throwing his arms wide to grab Prieto around the middle when the Paraguayan comes in with an overhand. Alvarez stands in front of Prieto, takes a scuffing half-step in reverse to draw Prieto in and stems his advance with a stiff jab before moving left. Nice check hook by Alvarez.

    10-9 Alvarez

    19-19

    CHEEN! :deal

(and he knows it, which is why he carries that vibe of vulnerability and panic just around the corner)

I guess it's because I rarely see Froch finish fights- but he looked damn near unstoppable that night- I couldn't even picture him walking over Ward that way
