    round 5

Double jab and line drive right by Prieto. Alvarez covers up as Prieto triples a hook - two high and one low, the last scoring just a hair shy of Alvarez's liver. Alvarez is gliding around tossing jabs casually into the arms of Prieto. Alvarez is careening in a concentric pattern, tracing over the center ring logo, jabbing lightly to counter Prieto's body and head pecking jabs while slouched over. Nice counter right hand by Alvarez. Prieto absorbs it and keeps pressuring.

    10-9 Alvarez

    48-47 Alvarez

    Round 6

Alvarez jabs and moves. Alvarez is trying to grapple, perhaps out of steam. Prieto is bashing down with the right hand. Alvarez is hurt! Prieto keeps dropping the right hand and drawing it back to reset. Alvarez hangs onto Prieto and drags him onto the canvas in a two man tumble. Alvarez has used the opportunity to clear some cobwebs and is back to moving smoothly on the outside, throwing counter jabs and chest-level uppercuts. BIG superman right hand from a crouch by Prieto, whistling just past Alvarez's neck. Lots of clinching by Alvarez. Prieto carries him across the ring.

    10-9 Prieto

    57-57

If he doesnt get Alvarez out in the next couple of round Prieto looks like he is gonna gas out. His breathing was very heavy in corner between rounds.

This is actually a really good fight. Prieto was a huge question mark.

These guys are sloppy. The top LHW elite them alive. Prieto is especially sloppy.

This is fascinating. Race against time. If he can target Alvarez's chin and set a few traps Prieto can win this. If he doesn't manage that soon, however, Alvarez will simply take it by attrition once he gasses out and stop him brutally.

I shouldn't say they're sloppy, but this is a wild fight.
