PBC on Spike: Adrien Broner vs. Ashley Theophane RBR

Round 3

Theophane is reaching in with the jab and then raising his goalposts and dropping into a forward-leaning partial squat, elbows lined up with his bent knees and back straight. Broner is retreating and letting punches skid off his left arm, d****d over his side with the shoulder popped up to protect his face. Broner is driven into the ropes as Theophane starts leading with shallow body uppercuts. Broner hurts Theophane and jumps on him, countering with hooks and short chopping rights as Theophane gets a bit wild in his attack. Broner swarms but Theophane weathers it. Broner is hooking Theophane along the upper point of the beard where it tapers off just below the ear. Theophane first tries standing his ground and hooking the body, then retreats in a blocking crouch. Broner exploits Theophane's defenses overcompensating for the left hook and lands a flush right hand on the eye socket.

Theophane is jogging around Broner and letting fly a trickle of jabs. Broner is stalking and pounding the body with uppercuts. Broner lands one up top and hurts Theophane. Broner is giving chase, sallying in and leaning back as he slashes with the hook and continues to find a home for the uppercut high & low.
