Round 3

Jacobs is jabbing and clipping the side of Truax's head with the inner part of his arms while throwing combos leaning in. Jacobs steps back, creeps along to his right, by the ropes, and snakes in a quick jab. Jacobs steps outside and draws Truax across the ring, preserving distance, fencing with him, out-jabbing him and mixing in left upper-hooks on the step-by.

I am literally sitting here with complete writer's block for entire minute-long chunks of these rounds struggling with coming up with anything to say. That almost never happens. I'm just so bored. :dead

 

Round 4

Jacobs is throwing some combos walking forward, but hitting the brakes a pace out before entering the phonebooth. Shoulder roll by Jacobs. Truax reaches with a jab, retracts, jerks his neck a bit, faking a step in one direction, then head-faking, throwing a feint - never actually getting around to punching.

I've never especially disliked watching either of these guys, actually.

This is the very definition of styles just meshing poorly. (not to mention both of their attitudes being utter garbage - come on guys, WANT IT)

 

Round 5

Jacobs is leading with a hooking right, scooping it under Truax's left ear. Jacobs is landing single-handed combinations, that is scoring with a right uppercut on the hip before pulling back to yo-yo it up in the form of an overhand. Truax is keeping pace with him, squaring up, defending, jabbing - but not effective. Not landing. Jacobs is, somewhat, though not pressing the issue, not looking to hurt Truax, just score points - and hence edging this and racking up the points.
