I think at this point a Monroe Jr. rematch is going to seem more attractive than a Jacobs "unification", even if Golovkin wipes the kid out in a minute flat. :!:

Jacobs is just waiting. Dribbling in a few combos, easing off. Truax is still throwing more feints than actual punches. Lots of positional adjustments, both jockeying for generalship, but no momentum shifts. All Jacobs, in and out of range, very cautious.

Jacobs is circling, left shoulder popped up, glove low, prancing by Truax with his chin up in the air defiantly. Jacobs shoots in with the jab, back outside, gingerly circling on his toes. Truax forges ahead, plodding and fishing with the jab. Jacobs is pushing Truax into the ropes and then setting him free, as though catching a fish and then returning it to sea.
