Also has no practical application in the ring.

Kind of like showing off in the gym on the speed bag, or with jump rope tricks. Means nothing, really.

 

Whatsisname - some MMA guy. Sugar Mo Lawal, I guess? I'm going off memory of his face here from a couple years ago when I still vaguely followed the sport, I missed when Dana introduced him by name.

He was fed an obviously rehe****d question by Jacobson, "is there anyone in boxing, say a legend, you'd like to see face another legend? :hey"

He says, "Yeah, actually...Joe Calzaghe..."

*camera zooms out, Calzaghe is three feet away*

"Who do you want to see Calzaghe fight?"

"Well, two names..."

*everybody waits, expecting "Ward & Froch"*

"Dariusz Michalzewski and Sven Ottke."

Calzaghe just stared agape for a minute. He wasn't in on the script for that. He got trolled hard.

"Those guys??!"

"Both undefeated champs, you know..."

"Those guys wouldn't fight me!"

Calzaghe got a little hot under the collar, flustered, not appreciating the joke but managing to get himself together and not fully lose his cool, laughing it off but turning beet red.
