This is boxing - always has been.

If the opponent has the ability to close off the ring, then Lara wouldn't be dancing round him landing at will.

You try going in a ring and just running away from Pacquaio, Kovalev, Beterbiev etc for 12 rounds - I guarantee you it's not that simple.

A small ring wouldn't work in Rodriguez's favor.

It would mean Lara would be forced to fight, and you would see Rodriguez get knocked out.

    Round 12

Lara dominated the last round like the 11 beforehand, he added in an overhand left that shook Delvin up a few times and hurt him, but Delvin pretending he wasn't hurt and motioned he wanted more, Lara finished off the round landing the more telling shote Delvin landed one or two decent shots. But clean sweep for Lara.

    Lara 10-9

    Lara wins 120-107

Kovalev is trouble for Beterbiev the same way running into an Israeli soldier would be trouble for a fugitive Nazi war criminal.

Lara stood right in front of Rod so please don't start with all this "he was running, make the ring smaller" ****.

Only compliant is he didn't step on the gas.

Nah, this is about showing the other dude that you're the boss.

That's what it's supposed to be about.

But today, dudes that were born dudes wanna be turned into women.

    I can't relate to that.

Make the ring smaller, then people have to fight.

Then we'll see where the REAL skill is.

James Toney would thrive in that environment.

This isn't amateur boxing. It's the pros. Power counts. Knockouts count.

It's why Mike Tyson was a star.

This was a showcase fight for him. Not like he was fighting another elite fighter where he had to be on point. He could've gotten him out of there anytime. The gulf in talent and skill was that wide but he simply refused to do so. Great fighters don't do that.
