    Round 7

Beterbiev drops Johnson with a counter to the temple. Then drops him hard near the ropes and the ref waves it off.

    Beterbiev wins by TKO

Decent finish, solid enough performance, carried his power into the 7th.

Hard to criticise him but I'd have like to have seen a little more spite earlier on.

Nice punch, Stevenson would be in coma after this.

It's frustrating watching Artur, he basically has no jab, he goes moments without throwing anything, he backs up at times for what seems for no reason, he's relying too much on his power imo. He has much to learn in the pros, even his inside game could use a little work.

And Beterbiev ends matters with a couple more KD's produced by a clubbing counter hook to the temple, then a right hand that deposits Johnson onto the seat of his trunks in delayed, dramatic fashion.

I think Johnson was exhausted more than anything else there. Beterbiev seemed a little tired at the end as well but great performance.

Finally! Looks like this Johnson guy will become a good step up fight for future prospects.

Johnson was far tougher than people thought he'd be, he'd never been KO'd previously he has a solid set of whiskers and took a hell of a beating. Congrats to him. He redeemed himself for his terrible showing against Luis Garcia.
