    He clearly doesn't want to end things early. He was frustrated in other fights when they went down too fast, so it seems he wants to stretch rounds out in some weirdish way

    That is not very wise. With that logic you can end up trying to grind some rounds and end up KTFO. You get a guy who can hit and hurt you with one clean shot and you give him a break or chance to recover & next thing you know you looking at a brutal KO from the floor.

    I think Beterbiev would probably win on points, and probably drop Fonfara a few times, but he could go the distance for the first time if they make the fight.

    Beterbiev also as I've thought for a while isn't ready for Kovalev.

    Maybe but he could still work without looking like this. He doesn't have to sit down completely on all his punches. If he wants to go rounds, he actually needs to WORK in those rounds, not throw anything lol.

    I know, but he has enough experience I think to know what to get away with.
    And I don't think he'll "experiment" against the guys that actually have a chance at beating him
