    Brave effort by Johnson against Beterbiev, although his corner should have retired him after the 5th round, as he had been knocked down hard twice in the 5th, was surely down 50-43 on all three scorecards, and he was completely gassed. There was absolutely no point in him continuing. But I still think Johnson put up a brave, worthy effort, and I bet he could give a number of Top 20 ranked fighters absolute fits. As for this main event, Lara vs Rodriguez is about as wretched as it gets. Hopefully those of us who suffer through it will be rewarded with bonus coverage of the Szpilka or Elieder Alvarez fights.

    I think the cancelled Anthony Peterson-Ammeth Diaz it isn't listed on Boxrec anymore on the fighters pages or on the lineup for tonight's card.:conf
