Yeah timing and opportunism. As good as he is, he splitted the boxing industry (TV networks and promoters) and he's one of the main reason why boxing is sick.
46-0-0-0 @ an unprecedented 6.5-1 ratio, nobody can even come close to that, next after Floyd is ATG Larry Holmes who reached 46-0-0-0 at a 3.9-1 ratio Floyd Mayweather is what happens when great management meets great talent, most boxers can't match Mayweather because they didn't have ATG handlers guiding them through the best route possible all their career, or when great handlers are around (example Eddie Hearn) the fighters themselves are not great as Mayweather, so they have to sacrfice opposition quality in order to stay undefeated
He's a rich coward. I firmly now believe Manny would get the better of him. Didn't before. Do now. I believe Bradley would of beaten Maidana a lot easier than Floyd.
i'm actually curious to know what changed your opinion ? paq beating a wounded bradley isnt half the accomplishment as beating a wicked big and strong relentless maidana. look what prov did to a healthy bradley and maidana is so far superior to prov in every single way. chino would murder prov
Love him or hate him, he will always be remembered as the greatest businessman ever in the sport. Sadly, that's how things work if you want to maximize profit in a deadly profession like this. You pick your opponents at the right time and dramatize the event as much as possible. Doesn't matter how entertaining or one-sided the fight turns out to be, as long as the drama prior to the fight was entertaining enough then people are sold.
:rofl:nut You best be on your bike against Provo and box him off from a distance , if not prepare to get slaughtered. Maidana was dropped by Joseito Lopez ffs and dropped hard when he was in the pocket with Ortiz.atsch Provo tears sloppy Maidana to pieces.
