Amazingly enough, PBF and RJJ could be brohters of different mothers..why you may ask? simple...they both have great physical attributes, exemplified the speed in boxer oin their own times, have won multiple titles, yet theres something that, at least IMO, doesn't make them the best evers or even close as they so vainly claim constantly in their respective weightclasses.

I guess I am prejudice against self boasting boxers with great physical talents, yet with what I would call major holes on their resume...I have talk plenty on my take on RJJ, and I will say that PBF is on the same path as RJJ....CLAIMING GREATNESS WITHOUT THE RESUME....

On a previous email, I listed 9 top boxers on PBF weight classes and 6 of them will beat him with ease and theother 3 will give him a hell of fight and with better than good chance to beat him....

So why the fanfare , why do they ahve to blow their own horn...why....
becuase they wnat ATG recognition without going thru the paces....

Out of curiosity, who were those 9 boxers?

Anyways, as far as "claiming greatness without the resume" goes, both Mayweather and especially Jones have the resume to claim greatness.

Roy Jones won 7 world titles in 4 weight classes, becoming the first middleweight since Bob Fitzsimmons to win a title at heavyweight. He defeated the likes of Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Mike McCallum, Virgil Hill, Antonio Tarver, John Ruiz, Reggie Johnson, Thulani Malinga, Jorge Castro, and many others.

Floyd Mayweather has won 6 world titles in 5 weight classes while remaining undefeated. He doesn't have the resume of Sugar Ray Robinson or Sugar Ray Leonard, but he has some very good wins (De La Hoya, Castillo x 2, Corrales, G Hernandez, Judah, Gatti, Chavez, Manfredy, Corley, Baldomir, C Hernandez, etc).

Both of them have the resume to be considered great. If they aren't great in your mind or don't make a top 100 list, who does?

Seriously, who gives a **** about money?

Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Sheldon Anderson all have a considerable amount of money over Floyd. But does that mean anything?

    Leave money out

Not sure PBF has more money than Jones either considering how many years Jones made 5 million JUST fighting his mandatories. And 100x more skills? Yah....no. Technical skills are not greater than unorthodox skills or vice versa.

I want to know who those 9 boxers are, and how you know that 6 would beat him with ease... since they havent fought yet.

Let me make something very clear. On his defense alone, Floyd is very hard to impossible matchup for every one from 140 to 154. Even Williams and Cotto would be very hard pressed to find this guy.

    Fair enough:

Looking at RJJ resume I only see two names that are high class fighters BHop and James Toney...the other fighters as good but never great, he never when an challenge the class at 160 nor at 168, he evaded all the hard punchers during that period and settle into a LHW class that was totally depleted of talent by the time he got there....he so the nitch ..he took it...good for him...for ATG status with lesser competition doesn;t work for me...and you know that...

PBF resume, is slightly better but he baulked at the better competion when he move to 140, I will say that PBF fought just about the best competition available at 130 and 135..no doubt, but once he move up the holes on the resume where getting more pronounced..so he will need to stepped it up in the new few years to be srure that he will be a top 100 ATG..and fighting opponents like Hatton is certainly the way to do it...

These were not current boxers. The ones he matched him up against WOULD give PBF problems. However, Orisha tends to favor aggressive boxers over defensive ones and therefore is slanted that way IMO.

Orisha, where would you put Floyd if he were to beat Hatton, Williams, and Cotto?

How would we know when Floyd wont take equal risk:huh

See, wake up out of dreamland and realize that titles might be created equal bu they are seperated by competition.

If Floyd wants to get near Roy, he's probably got 3 maybe four more fights. He needs Cotto and Williams at a minimum.

BTW, Beatable Floyd Toy, Roy AINT my boy:nono Nice of you to assume but I'm a Hopkins fan, always was/will be.
