I respect Floyd, but after reading some of the posts in the "Tommy Hearns would KILL Floyd," which I'll admit was a bit extreme, I felt like I would try and understand some of the thought process goin around this place. I want people to actually weigh in on this too. It seems like the thought around this board is that Floyd is unbeatable. It's like, no matter how high the weight classes go, nor the level of skill involved, Floyd can somehow beat them in a boxing match. I love the idea that a guy that came up from 130 could beat any man of all time, even Klitschko, but the reality is that when you get to high in weight classes, sometimes the skilled big man is just too good for you to beat, in boxing. Now in a street fight, I understand that there are some other intangibles that doesn't necessarily make it a win for the usual suspect. What I'm tryin to say is, that while I love Floyd's style and I don't even wanna see him get beat up. ****, I would even understand if Floyd never faught Cotto and made millions fighting Oscar and even Hatton. Boxing doesn't own Floyd. Floyd owns Floyd, and Floyd is likely gonna do what he feels like his insides are telling him. And ya'll know where that comes from. Fact is, I don't even mind the guy; he just acts like a kid, but ****, who's gonna tell him to stop? Anyway, my point is, Tommy Hearns had everything to beat Floyd and he was an incredibly skilled fighter. I just don't see how Floyd can get away from Tommy Hearn's right hand. The way Floyd goes down and to his left, that RIDICULOUSLY fast right hand is bound to land at some point and you can bet that uppercuts on the follow up, and he keeps it low. Not only that, but we're talking about Tommy Hearns jab. The way Floyd moves back and away from a jab at certain times leaves him vulnerable to being hit with that all night. **** the way, Sugar Ray won was by getting inside and pulling something that maybe only a handful of people in this world or ****, maybe who ever lived, have to pull in the first place. I mean, that was one mother ****in spactacular win. Was it not? And we're talkin about SRL. The same mother ****er that owned Floyd's daddy at his own game. And the thing is, he came down with that same Tommy Hearns **** that was done on him. And it involved a combination I'm always quick to talk about, but nobody ever listens. The thing is, Tommy would at some point deliver that combination, and when it lands, it's like a train, it keeps on poundin. So I want ya'll to let me know how it is exactly that Floyd is gonna get this one out the hat.

Obviously as good as a fighter is there is only so high in weight that fighter should go. For example, pound for pound Floyd is better than Pavlik but i would never expect Floyd to step in a ring with Pavlik at middle weight as Pavlik would be to big and strong for him. However, if you fight Hattan at 147 and De La Hoya at what ever weight they faught at then you should fight the best fighters at that weight aswell. Cotto is generally regarded as the best 147 pounder in the world, therefore Floyd should fight him.
The sport is boxing, and Tommy Hearns specialized in taking away your ability to box. He made you brawl. And ya'll know there is a distinctive difference between brawlin and boxin. When you got a guy as sweet as sugar and arguably, possibly, among the 3 greatest head to head fighters of all time, and he had to BRAWL to win a fight, then you got something different on your hands. ****, you got something that comes around only once in a generation, if that. You got Tommy Hearns. WASSUP?
Hearns KO's Floyd. No way PBF gets away.:nono Hearns had the skill and the power. Floyd's NO SRL and there is only 12 rounds, by which standard Leonard lost too:yep
