It's a tune-up, we'll forget that he was the P4P #2 and lost practically every round, it was a tune-up, right? After 2 years of activity. Nobody is claiming it as a great win, it was to shake the ring-rust, get back into the swing of things, for him to make a statement in setting up the bigger fights - namely the winner of Pac/Cotto. That would be huge. So why jeopardise that for Mosley?

Now I'm speaking from a viewpoint as both a Floyd & Sugar Shane fan here, now it's not disputed that Mosley turned down a fight in the past. He's doing this now for a pay-day, that's it. Floyd has a great fight lined up with the Pac/Cotto win on the horizon and Shane is trying to secure one last pay-day rather than bowing out with Berto/Clottey type fights.

Your reasons for Mayweather not wanting to fight Mosley now are annoying. People want to see that fight and to say they is little to gain is ludicrous. He has everything to gain fighting a true WW who is considered the best by many. Stop giving the excuse of who ducked who. This is now and they should fight. Fighting a LW in Marquez had even less to gain. Mosley would have blasted him out. So, I don't see your point.

Beating the guy who destroyed the guy you've been accused of ducking means nothing?

Many would disagree with you on that, Mayweather is one of the most skill fighters boxing has ever seen and no one even his non-fans dont criticize him of what he did in the lower divisions. Hes giving all the credit and merit, the problem is hes running his mouth, but not really hasnt fought a true welterweight since 2006(Zab Judah) Him facing and beating Mosley is needed right now for his career or at least any top 5 or top 10 welterweight, so he could quiet many critics.

He is shot. Even though he beat slow as **** Marg, he looked pretty damn sloppy doing so. SHane used to be so quick and agile, now he just looks awkward and his punches aren't nearly as crisp or quick. He doesn't need to lose to Mayweather to solidify his shot status, that happened after that horrible fight with Mayorga.

This fight is not gonna happen before mid 2010, if at all. Floyd is probably looking for Pac to beat Cotto so that he could fight him and get a huge pay day. By fighting the Pac - Cotto winner, Floyd would be taking on one of the best welters and hopefully after that he would take on Mosley.

Floyd is waiting on Pac. Pac will want the fight, but Roach and Arum will be too scared for their cash cow, and refuse to take the fight. They will even take a fight with Shane just to push Floyd out of the picture-at least that is their thinking lol. It's going on almost 9 years for PAc, and Hollywood loves Pac. Floyd will take on a bigger man, and say fuk Pac. Neither man needs each other, but boxing needs both. I see Floyd dominating Pac just as he did JMM. I wish Floyd fought either Shane, PW or PAv next.
