all i've got to say is this, pacquiao is in for an extreme ass whupping at the hands of mayweather jr. but this fight will never happen cause arum and roach won't let pacquiao near little floyd within a ten mile radius.

mayweather is certainly not david diaz, ricky hatton or a near-dead de la hoya. i don't think pacquiao can beat cotto but if it happens, pacquiao will be crazy if he thinks he can beat mayweather.

One thing about many of these threads puffing out is that people tend to overrate JMM as a welterweight fighter. JMM is an ATG fighter at 130, but above that, he will never be an ATG. A victory against the aging Casamayor, and a win against an overrated, light punching Juan Diaz does not exactly say "HOF" resume. That said, people are reading too much in this victory just like people are readfing too much in Mayweather's and Pac's wins against ODLH, as if they fought the same Hoya that JCC, or Trinidad fought.

People tend to intentionally overlook that JMM had not even fought at 140, how much more at 147 (technically although he weighed 142, his opponent is at 146 at weiogh-in, making the fight really a legitimate welterweight fight).

Well, it was like that because they agreed to a weight and both reached it. Mayweather can make his own rules though, I just hope he doesn't expect people to believe his bull****.

    so true.

but wait till the floydettes come.

some of them claimed that there is a tiny difference between jmm and pbf. heck, one poster even claimed that pbf and pac are virtually the same size.

pac and jmm are the same size, that is why skills aside, they have had the most competitive fights.
