Yes I'm talking about from around 1999 or 2000 to present.

That's what I'm talking about. A boxing clinic is not necessarily entertaining but it does showcase boxing skills of one fighter completely dominating another fighter making them look helpless in the process or as if they didn't belong in the same ring. And PBF's performance against Chico was just that. He dominated Chico thoroughly with the best boxing skills I've seen in this era. You would be hard pressed to show me a fight in this era that one boxer displayed such high level of boxing ability and dominance over his opponent as PBF did to Corrales in that fight period. A true definition of the sweet science, the art of hit and not get hit, at its highest level if there ever was one.

I think that the Mayweather Marquez fight falls into this category as weel. That fight is amazing because Marquez is also a master boxer, and Mayweather had been laid off for 18 months or more. What do you think?

Another underrated boxing clinic as well. PBF was hardly touched while he toyed with a master boxer in JMM.

It was no where near a technical masterpiece or a skilled display of boxing. Not even comparable really.

From that list I put, I'd say top 3.

Not sure what number 1 is, so hard to pick between them.

I'll say this though, in that fight, Floyd looks just as good as any fighter in history (bar robinson in lamotta 4) has done. The only way to separate performances of that level is on level of opposition.

Yes this and the Ndou fight and though most disagree, I think the Zab fight was a clinic in terms of ad******g and then dominating

True. And he didnt use his "weight advatage" to beat him neiher. Just skills. I just think that with the exception of rd 11, loyd cruised the last few rds, which takes away just a little of the luster

Fans were saying that it was the weight, and Marquez would be destroyed by Pacquiao at 140 or above because Marquez can't fight at the weight etc etc..

Than, Marquez punks Pacquiao in the 3rd fight and their weak opinion changed to "oh it's cuz the styles.":rofl:rofl

Floyd gets no credit for dominating Marquez..a fighter who had never been, and still has never been dominated by any other fighter to this day.

Note-I have not seen Norwood-Marquez (Marquez's first loss).

I've seen pretty much every marquez fight. Only floyd has beaten him clearly. There's a very good argument that only floyd has beaten him full stop.

In all my years of watching boxing I never actually felt bad for a guy in the ring like I did for Gatti when Floyd fought him. Floyd should have caught a charge for the beating he gave that man. Gatti was completely helpless. It was like a grown man beating up a child.

Marquez has a strong argument for deserving the victory against Norwood...Not too mention they ruled a legit KD by him a slip.

Floyd is truely the only boxer to have defeated Marquez.
