If Berto's people put him in with Floyd they would ruin his career - not happening. He's going to fight the winner of Pac-Hatton and retire for good with another 30-40 million for the two fights.

Then if he was to fight Cotto it would be like " Well he did beat Cotto but Mosley spanked Margarito who beat Cotto so he has to fight Mosley to be the real champ"!! So Mayweather is gonna let them handle that while he fights the #2 and #1 boxers in the world. by then hopefully the WW division is cleared up by then.
I knew Floyd would take the fight the night Marquez won. Why doesn't he have the guts to fight anyone who is a challenge. Then he ends up saying he is the best fighter ever. He has to this day never had one great fighter he beat close to prime.
Diego was a damn good - undefeated fighter when he beat him. So was Hatton - both in there prime. I agree that the Marquez fight is an easy one for him - but even he is allowed to cherry pick for his comeback fight - after being away for more than a year and a half. I would rather see him fight - Mosley, Cotto, Spinks, PacMan, Williams, or any legitimate WW. Guess we'll have to wait and see what he does after this fight before making any serious judgements on him as of now.
i think fighting he #1 and #2 guys is a good way to go out but to really be cemented the way he wants he should def fight all the top welterweights. worst case he may lose his perfect record but will go out as a guy who didnt duck best case he is one of the greatest if he really beat the best of his time
Never beat a fighter in his prime?? So I guess Corrales who was 33-0 and KO everybody wasnt prime, Castillo was KO everybody too was lineal champ for 3 years before Mayweather beat him. Hatton was younger and was prime too, sounds to me your just a hater. If the p4p #2 boxer in the world is no challenge then I guess Mayweather is that good, your not really gonna come on here and say JMM anit ****!!
