If he doesn't fight one of those guys in his next fight he will never get respected ever.. I wouldnt be suprized if PBF fough berto next. Thats something he would do.

I cant respect a fighter who takes the easy route everything he fights.

Grow some balls and fight martinez at 154 !!!:deal

Margo is a shot fighter, and Floyd would have always humiliated that cheating scumbag.

Arum will never sacrifice Cotto to a non Top Rank fighter, Khan get's stopped in a one sided bloodbath. Pac is still hiding behind Arum, who will never put Pac in with Floyd.

I would like to see him take one fight at 154 then fight Martinez. (If Pac doesnt stop juicing long enough to take the test).

    Mayorga is DK fighter.

And at this stage of Cotto's career, I have no doubt if Mayweather was willing to fight Cotto then Arum would jump on the opportunity.

He does need to fight one of those guys next. Ortiz was a nice appetizer, but we want to see more. I'd be really dissapointed if he took another long layoff, or didn't fight one of those guys next.

Cotto and Margo won't mean ****....

Martinez will give him more credit then Khan or Pac, as he is a bigger guy then both, Pac is perceived as an inherent equal and the argument can be made that Khan is not ready.

    Martinez at 154:deal

The first two on that list are the only ones I'd give him much props for beating.

floyd will be the favorite in all of those fights, but, probably except for the martinez fight since sergio is bigger than him and quite a skilled fighter

i think floyd is a victim of being too good in a way. he s got to raise the bar and fight someone people will think he will lose to- to get much respect. his dosent struggle with guys- and so dosent get his due- had he lost to ortiz- and come back in a rematch and ko's him- he would get more respect than dominating the way he does.
pac however, he does more than what we expect of him- he beats bigger men- and not just beat- but demolishes them.
i think it will take floyd to be done for a few years for people to recognise how dominant he has been. sure he could have fought a guy here or there, but heck - he s already 4 divisions above his best weight- did people give roy **** for ducking vlad and lewis?
people want to see him beat- and humbled- thats the bottom line- because he s an uppity negro. the same as jack johnson, the same as ali, the same as tyson. it wasnt til after these guys lost- and were made human- and time had passed- that the world loved and adored them. go back and see the history- people HATED ali, now he s the greatest- just as he said he was, people thought tyson epitomised ghetto blackness- and all the evil of its implication- now he s loved like a teddy bear, harmless and de-fanged.

i think people can say as they choose- their heroes and villains are their own to choose- but who we choose to hate- and why - often reflects as much about ourselves- if not more so- than the people we demonise.

Floyd should get one of them out of the way.
If he doesn't want the Pac fight, he could fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito.
There aren't any fights left for him at welter. Berto? Khan? What would he get beating them?
Atleast he'd kill the demons that have been haunting him for not fighting Cotto or Margs earlier.
I suppose though fighting a JMW he would risk fans calling for him to fight Martinez, who for sure he would never fight.

Mayorga had absolutely no chance of winning that fight, and you know it.

he fights Martinez at 154 it becomes:

He's fighting an old man, he's running from Pacquiao, Martinez was weight drained.
