In my opinion, aside from Vargas and Mayorga, DLH really hasn't had much pop since leaving 147.

Against someone as small as Forbes, and despite his movement, when DLH landed they didn't seem to bother Forbes. I think it's a combination of thw weight, age, and just his punch being alittle overrated. A little.

Moved back to NY from Boston buddy.

Wish I coulda been at the Roxy the other night, thats such a great venue for fights.

Anyways, relocated, started a new job with a lot less free time to be pounded away at good ol' ESB.

Read your write up about that night at the Roxy, quite professional. Im sure you had a blast. I actually saw Dat Nguyen's debut at the Roxy a few years back. That or it was his second bout. Either or.

"Im in the best shape of my life for this fight."

How many times have we heard that?

bosing and running are two different things. Ill even give Fraud props to prove my point.

Floyd Vs Gatti was an excellent boxer, used enough movement to set up counters and beat him down. He was not exactly a face-first brawler here.

Fraud vs Baldy was a sad runner, pitter pat jab and run. Ran so much, he chased fans away before the final bell as they boo'd him.

OK you keep bringing up Floyd vs Carlos, but refuse to acknowledge the first half of the fight when Floyd was sittin in the pocket and landing combinations. At no point in the bout did Baldomir land anything to change Floyd's tactics like he did against Zab, yet Floyd's right hands almost completely disappeared well before he started "running" as you like to call it. Please discuss.

If you think Im making excuses for DLH, youre sadly mistaken.

As far as his power above 147, he clearly had some bang left when he almost took Mayorga's head off. Tito had to pound away on MAyorga for like 9 rounds before he finally dropped him and Im pretty sure the first knockdown was from a body shot. And Mayorga looked to be in much better shape and much more comfortable in the bout with De La Hoya.

he ran most of that fight. . oh yeah he also held and threw elbows. He went in with the gameplan of avoiding any real contact in order to ensure the DLH money-fight. . . same reason he ducked AM.

    Ignorance is bliss.

Let me guess you scored Calzaghe-Hopkins a lopsided Calzaghe victory?

To miss out on the subtleties of this sport is so sad.

    Being a troll or *****? :D

Dude...I don't pretend to be anything else here that isn't obvious from my posts. :deal

But moving on, my money is on Cotto. By a decision or even late tko (ref mercy stoppage). I don't think it'll be as easy as some say. Cotto WILL be hit. Hit hard and often. But I think his much tighter technique and combination punches, which are heavy and come often as well, might be the difference. I surely wouldn't count out Margarito. He's taken some good solid shots before. And he's doesn't get hit quite as often as it's make out to be. He doesn't employ much side to side or head movement, but enough to keep the other guy honest. He's sais he's wanted to start faster to avoide another situation like against Williams. So far that's worked out. But it'll be another thing to see how that works against Cotto. But yeah, that's it. Oh, and I hope he doesn't get low blowed too badley. I don't think Cotto would do that intentionally. but I expect at least one. :D

I really just can't wait to see all the body blows. SHould be required vewiing for anyone who wants to learn the body shot.
