I guess Hops was afraid of being slapped to death, thats why he shamelessly faked a low blow.

The fight will be made. A fight is usually only heard in whispers several months before it is signed.

They know this fight will rake in numbers. They know this fight will take it's toll on both.

They both need to sort out financials, which is something I'm sure PBF fans can relate to...

I say we stop focusing on Cotto/Mayweather and just enjoy the match ups at hand?

TRUE boxers and boxing fans, the ones who've watched the blood, sweat, trials and victories in all their glory will enjoy this fight. Nobody's opinion really matters because the rest are all armchair athletes with no experience or validity in their statements.

    Nope.

In fact after watching the Forbes bout I would expect a late stoppage.

    Pointless bout.

    I want PBF-Cotto.

Nope thats called taking a breather. Wise old veteran move.

Not to mention, that blow was a lot lower than it initially looked as the replay shows. And anyone with more than an inch of manhood knows that the slightest of blows can cause extreme pain if placed right.

And if thats all you can point to to detract Hopkins, I think that you should go watch that bout again. He was never backed up against his will, got the better of almost all the toe to toe exchanges, landed the cleaner, more effective blows and was never reduced to looking like a wild amateur.

Oh yeah, he was never wobbled or planted on his ass either.

Hops did land cleaner shots but they were sooooo few and far between. . .He allowed Cal to simply outwork him. That was the match in a nutshell IMO. The low blow fiasco not withstanding. Of course I didnt take a point away for that bad acting job but it just goes to show how much of a scumbag Hops is. . . especially after the race-baiting he pulled.
