What's wrong with 143? Floyd's coming down in weight :nut That's 4lbs instead of the 1 Cotto is doing.

    Floyd weighs less than Pacquaio

Fighting weight on fight night Floyd lighter.

Floyd is already at 146/147. Lighter than what Pac last fought at. (148)

    :deal

Floyd can still weighs less than Pac and is not that much bigger.

Then again, even if he went down to 135 he would still be ducking someone to fight the number 2 p4p at his weight.

Although coming up is easier in weight than going down. Marquez weighed 141 and Floyd is down to 146/147.

Pac weighed what 144 or 145 vs JMM in their last fight. So Floyd will be 1-2lbs heavier than the Pac that Marquez fought.

i said that it would not matter if floyd would not fight the best. we don't know if jmm at 143/144 would be at his best. or yet, why not fight a real welterweight which floyd really is or at least a JWW if you think floyd is a small welter? i would be satisfied even with a berto or a clottey type tune-up first than fighting a bloated jmm.

listen jmm is much much better than those welterweights but we haven't seen how jmm would perform adding 9 more pounds.

lmao @ a shot hatton:rofl hatton got wobbled by lazcano and all of a sudden he was shot:patsch he basically won 10 or 12 rounds against lazcano. He became the 1st fighter to TKO malignaggi and got a lot of praise after that fight saying he was a better fighter cuz of mayweather Sr. Many people in ESB even picked him to KO pacquiao prior to their fight. PAcquiao beat hatton in a weight he was comfortable in and is undefeated. Get off the haterade:rofl

Who says he has to add 9lbs? By doing so he would outweigh Floyd.

Unless he truly believes Nacho who thinks Floyd goes up to 160+ on fight night. :rofl

When Floyd fought Baldomir for the WW title.

Cotto had yet to even fight at WW.

Mosley was fighting at 154 and opted for the year off.

Margarito offered Floyd a fight earlier that year but Arum wanted contract ties with Floyd who had just bought his contract out from him. Arum would give less money for bigger threats and the DLH fight was not possible.

I wonder why Floyd didn't take that contract :nut

Hard to fight Cotto or Mosley who weren't even in the division.

    Margacheato

floyd would be bigger than marquez. jmm was highest at 141 or close to it on a fight night. floyd had already weighted 150 on weigh-in alone. jmm could chose not to add weight but would his punches affect floyd who is more settled at 147 and even 154? this fight is good, if marquez was really not overmatched physically and is settled at 140-147 range.
