Ricky Hatton brought the best that PBF have had to offer since JLCastillo fight....

Ricky Hatton fought exactly the type of fight I expected to him,in fact in you read my thread on how th fight will fare you will see the script of last night for Ricky Hatton, but what I forgot to mentioned was PBF pre determine plan on how to counter act Ricky's aggressions...I don;t think it was plan A, but I am sure Roger Mayweather and PBF deside they would hold and grapple if they felt Ricky might be more complicated that they expected..and this was the case obvioulsy from round 1 on..Ricky could ahve been the first man to KD PBF in convincing fashion, but like Emanuel commented , if is not beacuse of PBF magnificent physical attributes he would ahve hit the canvas...

PBF was able to weather the storm, and forcehis bigger size body over forcing Haton to work harder trying to get out PBF holding maze than punching, it was a very exhausting fight for both, and at theend the true 147lbs, took the advantage...

PBF accurate combos to the head, the lead right that landed about 100% of the time, everytime that Ricky come in thru the fornt door without head movement....this was what cause the KO, the accurate right lead and the fact that Ricky tlegraph that left hook and run right into a pperfectly place left hook of PBF...accurate and fastwere the redeming elelments that PBF relied to defeat a brave Ricky Hatton...

I will say, PBF finally layed it on theline on a fight, that he was force to and came on top...he deserved thewin, he fought a hell og a fight...

PBF stronger statement up to know as a boxer...I was legitimately impressed...

Anf for those that doubted Ricky;s boxing ability, it was clear that Ricky is very underated as a boxer, his footwork was great and movement, gave trouble to PBF the entire night, but he was never able to give the head movement necesary to made his quest susscesful...any how Kudos to Ricky Hatton also, he was graceful in defeat...

Judos to them but Cotto will prove he is superior to both.

At least I clearly preceived tht PBF felt very uncoortablewhen he was not able to dictate the fight, when a strong and quick body puncher was to bring the fight at him...Cotto is far more stronger than Hatton, I think we all can agree that after last night, he is a far better boxer, and more accurate body puncher....I strongly beleive that Cotto v PBF would be an incredible fioght that would bring the best on both..and Cotto for what I saw last night has a good of a chance as any to beat PBF....PBF will not be able to move the stronger Cotto as he come in, and Cotto will not allowed PBF to hold him like Hatton did...

The only thing that troubled mayweather about hatton was his foot speed - everyone over looks this about hatton... he could close in on mayweather constantly and never gave him chance to slip and move

Cotto has nowhere near the foot speed and lateral movement that hatton has and mayweather would have much more time to pick his shots and get through Cotto's defence

Im sure this fight will happen - the fact that mayweather mentioned it is a good sign and the relative ease he dispatched hatton will also work towards this goal... cotto im sure would take the fight, but bob arum hates mayweather and is a bitter old **** and this will diminish the chances of this happening massively... just like when arum hated oscar and no top rank fighters fought goldenboy fighters

On that fight if and when it happend I will bet my life from ESB on favor of Cotto, that's how confident I am in Cotto's chances, remember the fight with SSM, how well he fared when using his hard jab....and jabbing is the key to counter speed ,there not two way about that....

My predictions are the same for Mayweather vs Cotto. Mayweather by UD, possible 10th round TKO. The same predictions I had for Hatton fight, just one round off

Mosley has no defense at all. You can't use that as a reason he would be successful against Floyd, when will u people learn that. Cotto would be counter the whole fight. Floyd would most likely have Cotto fighting his fight.

Yeah but remember there is the power factor and he countered a smaller guy all night. I like Floyd to beat Cotto as of right now but not as easy as a lot of people think. Mosley gets hits a lot in this stage of his career and I would not like to see that. He could not even neutralize Cotto slow ass punches.
