If Floyd is better than Manny as people claim, then size doesn't matter. Let Floyd fight Manny at his best weight and that is 140lbs. Do you favor Floyd to win against Manny at 140lbs?

 

He also beat clottey who is bigger than mayweather. So what's the problem. Both these guys hit harder than mayweather so why is size an issue.

But unfortunately for them this wont fly for the majority of boxing fans who have already seen Pac beat Oscar, Cotto and Clottey at WW. Three guys who are naturally bigger than Mayweather.

Not only that but Pac next opponent according to Arum could easily be Margarito who is bigger than anyone I have listed.

 

Here's the best way to predict Pac's best weight. Take the 4 classes: Super featherweight, lightweight, super lightweight, and welterweight. Pac's. opponent in each division is equal to Mayweather in all departments except the wieght and the relative strength associated with that wieght. Which one of those wieghts would be best for Pac. to maximize his performance? You can do this same method prediciting Mayweathers best weight.

He had 1 fight at that weight.

 

140 is the best weight for Pac to face opponents not for Pac to weigh in at. Pac weighing in at WW does not effect him in a negative way. Mayweather weighing in at jr W does effect him in a negative way.

If Mayweather did agree to fight Pac at 140 he would still beat him. Pac destroyed DLH who is bigger then Mayweather at 147. Unless you are willing to admit that DLH was a corpse and win isn't legit then there is no argument.

 

Pac's best weight class is at 140, a big junior. Floyd's at 147 who is a small welter. IMO to determine the real p4p king they should fight at a catchweight of 145 at most. But Manny is willing to fight at full welter to accomodate FLoyd.

If it's up to me, stage the fight at a fair 145. No belt whatsoever. A fight just to determine the true pound for pound king.

 

So pac can fight clottey and 147 but he cant fight floyd at 147, yet clottey is bigger than floyd.

I have no problem with Floyd getting 60/40 if he stood to make 6 million and Pac 4 million. But when Floyd stands to make up to 60 million and Pac 40 million? You do the math.

 

I have to disagree. I think Floyd is a just an astute fighter (I'm being generous here, bear with me lol). He wants to have the advantage any which way he can however small. At the top small things can change the outcome of a fight.

Clottey is not exactly bigger then Mayweather. They are very similar in measurements, just different in build.

 

If Clottey would've beaten Pac, do you think he would have been been #1 p4p? He wouldn't even be considered a better p4p fighter than Pac. Everyone would say he was too big.

 

Bull****, your logic fails miserably. Pac has had 3 fights at WW, his last two fights were at WW, he is a WW just like anyone else in the division.

If pac stayed at 140 and wanted to fight floyd at a catchweight to determine who the p4p king was that would have been fine. But he didn't instead he had 3 fights at WW at looked perfectly fine, in fact he looked better than ever. So what makes you think he can ask for a catchweight when he has been fighting guys bigger than mayweather.

Mayweather came up weight classes, most of his career he has had the disadvantage in size and weight. Just like most fighters who come up in weight classes. Once he reached the top by giving in to all of DLH's demands he felt it was his time to be able to call the shots as most fighters did to him when he was trying to reach the top.
