PBF Haters/1st post

Seriously, how do people honestly read Floyd as scum? Scumbags don't work as hard as him. They cut corners.

You think he only is in it for the money but you mouth him for dodging the huge money fight with Pacman and retiring while the WW's beat on each other. Don't think he earned any money on those fights he didn't fight.

This is more of a question, as I, like Floyd, don't really care. Just wanted to see if people could explain better.

Talking **** on a guy for talking ****? It is obvious with his love of professional wrestling he is pulling a "heel" with his vulgar, trash-talking "promos". He is playing the villain and doing it real well. I don't think i have to tell you, that the man is real clever and thinking steps ahead. More people are excited about boxing cause they want to see Suger take this cocky *******s head off.

He may blow unbelievable amounts of money on the strip club (a lot of you haters would too if you had that type of money) and likes to be the center of attention (who doesn't sometimes) but the guy is a human being. The fact of the matter is, is that when he steps into the ring he is unbeaten and that speaks to his unbeievable work ethic and confidence. Name an ATG that didn't at least THINK they were the best fighter ever... Let he who have not sinned cast the first stone.

P.S. Let's stay classy. I don't want my first post to turn into a flamefest. Just want a well thought out philosophy of PBF hate, asit really intrigues me.

All the stuff people talk **** on him for is all his hype and what not. The guy has earned everything he has through hard work. The Tyson's and Valero's of the boxing world, unbelievably natural gifted athletes (not saying they didn't train hard as well) who are scumbags, deserve the bashing (not saying that they need to be bashed).

He claims to be the best trash-talker and allows it to get into his opponents head. He doesn't do it ecause he is just a nasty dude is what i'm trying to say. Like the Mayweather family says most people don't know **** about boxing. It seems like most people bet against him because they hate him.

Look past the hype and see the hard work and demeanor of PBF and you may learn to like him

 

Exactly. Thank you. I just don't see how people can't read him. He like any of us is human. He loves, he laughs. All the things that people hate him for are all his alter money making, hype creating persona. When he is not talking **** his voice is soft. He is humble. He is loving.

Just figured this board, which i assumed to be real boxing fans, would not have their eyes clouded by pre-fight hype. The thing is 40 people have been trashed pre-fight, 40 people have gotten beat, and post fight 40 people, including millions of fans, have been met with a gratious, well wishing Floyd.

 

It is like hating on the Undertaker for being so evil ya know? It is all an act.

Once again I don't just love PBF. But the guy deserves respect, not spite. And the Margarito's and Chavez jr's don't even deserve spite or mention.

 

Haha Agreed. But that is part of the hype. And i didn't see that thread. It sucks that fans make the hate sometimes. Philadelphia teams I have a new respect for you, as it were your nasty fans that made me hate you... Sorry

 

All I know is this will be the best live fight (so called "boring" or not) I have ever seen and look forward to it. Good luck to both great fighters and men.
