floyd was just hyping the fight...floyd maybe mis-understood

 

Hatton fought bravely but he was too eager, got too close and smothered his own work by not giving himself room to move and wrapping mayweather up unnecessarily.

The first couple of rounds he was doing well because he was allowing himself a bit of space to move with.

The ref was too involved but from the first round they were getting tangled up badly and it was Hatton who was instigating it. He ruined his chances by not throwing punches as he came in, but diving in and grabbing hold.

If he'd taken half a chill pill and kept his hands up he would have had more success.

It was hard to watch but I was amazed by how mayweather figured him out and broke him down

 

Floyd had alot more fans after the fight I can tell you that. And alot of fence sitters certainly switched to his side in the crowd when the Brits boo'd the national anthem.

sorry.. sounds like sour grapes to me.. Mayweather's not a bad individual when he's not on a press tour.. He knows how to create hype.. hype = money.. when will you people learn..

 

I missed the fight I was out in the ocean fishing. Did mayweather show signs of slowing down at all?

He was just having a laugh mate. He was taking the **** out of Hatton. If Hatton and his fans didn't take Hatton so seriously, they would realize this.

 

In fairness, Mayweather did give plenty of credit to Hatton, and his fans, after the fight.

 

Mayweather actaully won me over after the fight, whilst he was talking to larry merchant at first i just wanted to set to the ****er with a iron bar, but when he started giving my hero props, and showing love for the english fans he won me over totally.

someone does have to play the bad guy, and I amost feel for Floyd as he always has to do it.

i really respect him 100% more now, the guy is class in my book.
