Wasnt "no mas" evidence of a very disheartened fighter?

Cause RJJ was the more skilled fighter... People forget Roy in his prime... And I disliked him... So that's saying something

Duran was a monster man and there's no doubt but Buchanan was a buster and a highlight reel example of a beat down.

    More athletic, sure
    Stronger absolutely

    More skilled? No.

Once he lost some athleticism he wasn't able to adjust.

Tell me again how Duran is apparently going to win the fight against a defensive master who NEVER gets drawn into the *******s and "machismo" in the sense that Sugar Ray Leonard was when Duran beat him?

The very point of what makes Floyd hated is why Floyd is so hard to beat, since arguably Gatti and the **** that went down with Ortiz, he's never been drawn out of his own fighting style and gameplan, against a diverse range of fighters.

But then you'd just get beat by guys like singsurat, torrecampo, morales, bradley, Marquez and Mayweather

Problem is Manny isn't half the boxer that Floyd is, and relies so heavily on his physical talents, foot speed and awkwardness.

Floyd is a much more complete fighter, Manny is a much more exciting fighter, but I watch boxing for both reasons, excitement and amazement at the pinnacle of greatness.

duran went 1-5 against the best fighters of his era..no way is he top 5:deal

fighting the loikes of ken buchanan and esteban de jesus at 135 does not make you top 5 all time.

duran is 16-6 in title fights losing to the likes of esteban de jesus, kirkland laing, robbie simms, vinnie pazienza, william joppy, etc his record against the best fighters in his era is pathetic for an atg.

duran was the first oscar de la hoya never winning the big fights:deal

floyd at 38 is the lineal champ in 2 weight divisions when did duran ever accomplish this?:deal

The Million Dollar question is how would the ATG's match up against Floyd with Random Olympic Style Drug testing? That's a question no one ever asks, Shane Mosley was throwing a million punches against margarito but when he fought floyd he was gassed out and wasn't the same fighter same goes for Manny.

The crazy part about Floyd is we haven't even seen his whole skill set. His defense is so crazy good that he can rely on it and not even bring out some of his offensive tools. Bottom line is Mayweather's tool box is full, offensively and defensively. I hear complaints that he can't do this or that, and the reality is that it's a conscious strategic choice not inability.

"But he can't throw combos." Strategic choice, watch Gatti and Cotto. "But he has no KO power." Strategic choice, he sits down on his punches when he feels comfortable that he can't be hurt or when he needs to catch up in a round.

He's a complete fighter and the sad thing is that we will never truly know how good he actually was because no one could challenge him enough to dig deep in his tool box and pull out stuff we know he has but never used.

must be a joke right? against bums he looked like roy jones and sweet pea in one body.

against pac, his offense consisted of pitty pat punches on pac;s gloves.

never traded, never countered in the pocket.
no inside game, should we count him punching while holding pac's arm?
    no pull counters
have you see the lead right?
jab? have you him snapping pac;s head? how the hell floyd missed pac's massive dome?
    body attacks? hahahahha.
    check hooks? lmao.
waht about his timing? did you his epic fail trying to time pac with a right when pac tried come in. prolly landed 5pct.

somewhere there's gifs of floyds scared ****less versions of pullcounters and checkhooks. find it if you need a laugh.

    what about his defense?

no shoulder roll in the pocket, no bob and weave.
did you ssee him walk pac down with a high guard?

his defense consisted mainly of hugging for dear life and running like a *****.

surely i could have mistken him for usain bolt with gloves.

    gtfoh with floyd;s skills.

    WHERE?

No, no, no, Floyd never ever had power t 147-154 unless you count a disgraceful chep shot KO of extremely glass-jawed and mentally weak Ortiz.

Ortiz by the way was one-punch KO'd by shot featherfisted Collazo, that says all about his chin.

Floyd is 14-0 and only 3 stoppages at 147-154.
One of them was body shot KO over shot and average JWW Sharmb Mitchell, the other was a cheap shot KO vs Ortiz, that leaves only one legit KO over good opponent in Hatton and 12 decision wins (in these fights Floyd scored 1 knockdown in 144 rounds!!!)
