Actually I have always heard its a picture. An expression is actually a collection of words, hence taking away from the paradox.

if you watch the video then you will see Cortez grab Floyds arm away from his shoulder. that picture def takes that moment way out of context.

This is why Cortez pulled himself off from that embrace as soon as it was polite to do so...but you are right...what the hell is that about? One of the fighters embracing the ref?

Funny no Hatton fans complained when Cortez worked the Castilo fight.:-( Not to mention they approved of his choice as the ref for this fight.
