Close...but no. Pac has a KO over Cotto, and Cotto has a win over Mosley. Pac is also naturally smaller than Floyd. :deal

Pound for pound, Pac is #1. If Floyd KOs Martinez or Paul Williams, no doubt, Floyd is #1.

But Cotto was also brutally stopped by Margarito, a man that Mosley destroyed, who is Floyd's opponent.... You can't just use half of the story.

I am getting confused on this naturally smaller talk too.... People that defend Pac against steroids claim that Mayweather was Pac's size too at Pac's age. Then try to give Pac extra credit for being naturally smaller.:huh

Put it like this, Pac could still easily make 140, Mayweather could not anymore in my opinion.

I don't disagree that Pac is naturally smaller than Mayweather, the size is definitely comparable though...

Not on my list. A great win by Floyd over Mosley can't change the fact that Pac has done enough to keep the #1 spot even even if Mosley gets KO.

true, pac has been miles ahead now above every one else with what he has done in his last 4-5 fights. look at this, we have floyd who have retired for almost 2 years and only has a win over a p4p lightweight in jmm and he is now considered #2 just because he was the former p4p king. and we have an inactive shane mosley and bhop at #3 and 4 respectively. a very good win if floyd stops shane but the best it could get is a solid #2 spot and just a few steps behind pac.

exactly, and we are talking about a fighter who isn't afraid of taking risks, he fought Morales, Barrera and JMM many times just to prove who is the best.

    I could put Floyd in-tie on P4P #1 spot..
that could force them both to make the fight just to see who's the real #1 :)

A possibly plastered version of Margarito beat Cotto. Mosley KOd a 100% guaranteed plaster free Margarito. :deal

Pac is naturally smaller. He is not a true welterweight and weighs in at 149 during his fights while his opponents come in at 155-160 (except De La Hoya). Floyd fought at 154 once and couldn't even make 144 against JMM. Floyd made JMM look like a midget. JMM is half an inch taller than Pac. If ever they do fight, even Stevie Wonder would tell you Floyd is bigger than Pac.

Shane is a good fight for Mosley to prove something, but Shane still is older and lost to Cotto. It will be a good win, but not a win which propels Floyd to top fighter.

Depends on whether you look at Mayweather endorsing a Manny Pacquiao trunks as losing a bet or ****.

That is the subtlety of that avatar. Mayweather in Pacquiao shorts.

If he knocked him out, which I can't see happening, it would put him back as P4P number 1 in my books anyway.

Once again a Floydette jumping to a wrong conclusion.

The statement stated that if he KO's Mosley, then you question the use of PEDS. PEDS was never a prerequisite for KOing JMM.

But if he KOed JMM (which actually never happened ever and ever), why would you question PEDS when he was the bigger, stronger, faster, heavier, plus he cheated on the scales. Infact, I was extremely disappointed when it went to a decision .

Based on that fight, where Money landed more than 50 per cent of his punches, JMM did not look bad at all after the fight. Thus the logical conclusion that there is no way in hell that Mayweather would KO Mosley, ever. Did he KO baldomir, when he was landing anytime he willed it?

If you really are logical thinker, what is the chance of Mayweather KOing Mosley, considering that he has brittle hands, Mosley has a proven whisker against bigger opponents than Mayweather? Honestly! I have seen Mosley eat punch after punch against heavy and big hitters (example vernon Forrest) than floyd would ever be.

Let's put a number to that chance of Money KOing Mosley -

from 0-100 per cent, what would be a logical number?

For me, it is almost zero per cent. Now, if he KOs Mosley, I think there is something fishy going on. Either he injected tons of xylocaine into his ultra-brittle hands, or Mosley took a dive, or Money is on A-side meth.
