PBF needs to beat Cotto to get 100% respect

PBF needs to fight Cotto if he wants to be the Champ at 147.

They need to fight period so I am right. Cotto beat the wBO Cahampion Quintana to get the WBA belt and has defended it 3 time already. Knocking out Judah beating Mosley. PBF only defended the WBC belt once. The WBC is a corrupt organization anyway.

 

Cotto won a vacant title.


Floyd won the WBC/Ring/Lineal title.

Cotto needs Floyd. Not vice versa.

I agree with this. Now I realize that it's not Cottos "style" to call people out, and that he just fights whoever is in front of him, but if he wants to be the champion at 147 (which is what I would think he wants, lol) then he needs to call out PBF. Everyone saw what happened when Hatton did it. All you have to do is "diss him" and you will probably get your fight. I don't want to jump the gun because I do think that this fight will happen eventually, but if it doesn't I would come to the conclusion that Cotto wants nothing to do with PBF

 

Cotto is no longer an up and comer anymore. He's a contender with a belt. He needs to be calling people out, who he wants to fight etc.

No longer, "I Let my management pick"

 

He is the WBA 147 pound champion plain and simple.
