A couple corrections.. Honestly there is ONE true WW champion (Floyd). The alphabet boys came and made their own titles therefore those beltholders should be considered titlest. Winning a VACANT title doesn't necessarily mean you are THE ww champ. If Hatton hadn't vacated the title, Cotto MAY not the titlist he is....:deal

That being said, the WW division is deep with those titlist. Why should the Champ seek out challengers? If i was king of the hill I would wait until someone was a CLEAR threat to me being on top. Not just because of popularity but because he beat everyone else.

As for holding your breath, perhpas you should my friend. Also, apparentlly you know a lot about how much money Floyd has made, so i will leave that equation to you. As for me, well, i really dont care about how much money he makes, and tells us he makes, i am more concerned with watching quaility fights against deserving oppisition. But, I digress, i really should jsut be concerned with how much he made.

Distorting or aguing facts does not ake the facts become less valid. 4 Cahmpions. In your theory, a champion should jsut wait in a lounge chair until a claer threat presents itself. How exciting. Let me ask you...whatuniversal criteria should the champ use to detemrine what threat level a contender is? This formula should be interesting

LOL.....sound like a Patriots fan...or a Valuev fan....or a Lewis Fan..or a Tyson fan..or a Forman fan....or any other nameless fan who gets so cuaght up in a persons rhetoric that they begin to embody it and beleive it. You are right..No One will ever beat him..he is unbeatable..he would beat a prime Ali...wow...

There is no super secret universal equation to determine a contender for the champ. Mandatories and titlist are a good start. I understand your point about the champ sitting in a lounge waiting on a true threat, but you have to admit you are taking your view to the extreme. If i applied your point of view about PBF being active he should clean out the division, fight the top 30 WW, go down to 140 fight all those 'champs' then gain 14 lbs and beat all those guys. Oh all in a matter of 12 months... You have to have the champ active right? Talk about WWE stuff.:-( Why would he do that when a titlist is there in a position to take the other two belts and make the fight a unification fight (calzaghe v kessler)

D--not saying any off that stuff...just stating that he should be fighting the top contenders/belt holders if he expects the genral public to belive his own 'i am the best of the best" rhetoric....i really dotn care who he fights....i jsut want to see good quality exciting fights between top contenders and champions....jsut like you. D--not that you are a nuthugger..not sayinh that, cuz you dont appear like one...but can you show me PBF defininf WW fight...you know..the one we will all remember in years to come..that will cement his legacy...like a SRL/Hearns/Hagler/Duran. You see..the division is deep now, like WW was in the 80's and PBF is not fighting these legend making fights....where is his Chavez/taylor, his Ali/Forman/Frazier/liston/Norton. his tyson/spinks/ruddock/holmes/biggs/berbick?

    Source?

It's fact. Judah held WBC,WBA,IBF. WBA stripped him when he lost to Baldomir. Judah also lost the WBC to Baldomir.

Floyd beat Judah for the IBF, Floyd then beat Baldomir for the WBC +Lineal and Ring.

He vacated the IBF and Hatton won the WBA from Collazo. Hatton then vacated and Cotto picked it up in a vacated title match.

Still waiting on those facts...according to my math..that is 2 titles he HAD. I need the FACTS and the source to support your "factual" statment they if he wanted to have 4 belts he could. So, why doesnt he want to?

Those types of classic fights aren't out there in WW to be honest. The only fight that COULD be that is PBF v Cotto. However... The mass public said the exact same thing about DLH v PBF(it was a dud) as well as PBF v Hatton (Hatton got KTFO and then everyone says he isn't a true ww). If PBF took on the top 10 WW their wouldn't be an all time classic match out of most of them. WW is deep in good fighters, but no one would say great or elite.

Correction..in the grand scheme of things, facts overwhelmiglly state the no man is unbeatable. Once someone starts beleiving they are unbeatable, it is there demise. Confidence is healthy, over confidence is suicide.

I never said he had all 4.

I said he basically had all 3 *the 3 main titles*

WBA stripped Judah for losing to Baldomir. You can basically say that Baldomir was the WBA champion.

Thus he has 2, and if you count that, that would be 3.

Then, Hatton beat Collazo for the WBA strap and vacated but then fought Floyd at 147. Which could be another way of counting the WBA strap.

Floyd has never been about titles, but if he wanted them, he could of kept them.

Well....someone may say great or elite...but, in order for them to be considered great or elite, they msut fight the other contenders and champs...see the dilemna? FMJ wont allow this to happen.
