if handpicked means the best match-up at that time, then yes. many of oscar's opponents were handpicked

if pbf said this, it is incredibly stupid and will only go back to him because he has never fought anyone like bhop, shane, or even tito for that matter

If his opponents were handpicked, he did a really poor job picking them. He is 4-3 in his last 7 fights. Of course, every fighter has a preference of style match-ups. Oscar always fought extremely well against bangers. He stands and counters. He has never been an effective aggressor.

Floyd would say this? That is the story of his career more than Oscar. Oscar started doing this late in his career, but Floyd always did this.

Floyd should shut the **** up with that hypocritical garbage. Oscar has ten times more impressive names than Floyd, though he obviously didn't win all of them.

All he's tryin' to do is keep his name in play. This is the gambit of a retired, needy man. Oscar in his prime would have whupped PBF.

This is a really strange thing for Floyd to say.
His talent is undeniable but the one thing he's been criticised for is his quality of opposition, yet he decides to take a shot at the guy with the best resume of his generation?
All this does is shine a light on his resume which is the one thing that lets Floyd down.
Does Floyd really believe he faced better fighters than Oscar?

People hate Oscar...put they are quick to forget that he fought everybody there was there to fight.

Same cannot be said for Floyd, who is absolute disgrace for calling Oscar's opponents handpicked.

I don't know how Floyd has the nerve to say that, he is the biggest cherry picker ever!

Oscar never ducked anyone, he has fought absolutely outstanding opposition for his entire career: Vargas, Quartey, Mayweather, Pacquaio, Hopkins, Chavez, Whitaker, Gatti, Hernandez, Gonzelas, Ruelas, Carr, Molina, Sturm, Mosley, Leija, Castillejo, Trinidad, Molina, Paez....this list is endless.

you can say a lot against oscar... But one thing you got to give him a tremendous amount of credit for, is that he fought nearly everybody.. And that wasn't common in the 90's most champs fought almost only bums... Like Hopkins, Jones jr.. In these years you were able to get away with it and make a lot of money.. With the decline of the interest in the sport in america, probably also due to the many missmatches in the 90's, that isn't the case anymore. And thats why you see guys like cotto, mosley, pacquiao, Marquez constantly fighting top fighters
