Strange thing for Floyd to say - the one thing I can truly respect Oscar for is his quality of opposition. That said, I've never seen a guy so celebrated who literally lost ALL of his important fights.

So, you've been watching boxing since 'The World Awaits' then?

Vargas, Trinidad and Quartey were his most important fights.

Mayweather and Chavez were his biggest.

You could argue very strongly that he was ripped off in the Tito and Moseley(2) fights though.OK he couldnt stop them and be his 'own judge',but neither did they stop him,and they appeared to the world to be behind.
As Hoya says, he beay Vargas and Quartey too.

it is just PBF retired too early..if he did not retire early he could have faced more contenders..but he run away with more big fights ahead

Its not even remotely credible for that guy to say "Oscar lost literally all his important fights", was Pacquiao and Mayweather really "important"? to me, they were just money making events, from a part time celebrity boxer, Oscar's real boxing career probablly ended after Hopkins. In terms of career signifigance, Quartey and Vargas were MUCH more important than Pacquaio and Mayweather. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure what Oscar's record in world title fights is, but he didn't win ten world titles in six weight classes by "losing all his important fights" :-(

And that's why he will never be liked.
Altough he is the most skilled cherrypicker ever himself.

This is why Oscar has losses on his resume and Floyd does not ..Oscar fought the very best even outside his natural weight ..Floyd well Floyd fought who Floyd looked good against !

Yes... Oscar handpicked all of the best fighters in the world. Floyd must have thrown the top 100 in a hat, and just went with whoever he picked. Sometimes I am sure that Floyd drew a name and said "Well... best out of 3"... and eventually a few picks later "Alright, Bruseles it is. That was fair and square Cotto, sorry..
