PBF or Pac, whose legacy suffers more if "no fight"?

Why doesn't PBF just go and kick Pac's ass
if he is so sure he can do it?

(Ali tried that against Frazier in 1971 and got
    bounced off the canvas.)

PBF suffers more I think because Pac has been beating guys "he's not supposed to beat" for some time now, always successfully meeting supposedly too difficult challenges. PBF has never been an underdog to my knowledge.

PBF - He needs Pacquiao to truly prove himself in the eyes of the fans. He needs to deal with real adversity. Pacquiao has proven himself a long time ago.

Floyd's does. He's beaten some very good fighters, exceptionally good, but Pac has beaten better.

Pac would be an underdog against Mayweather too. Hes a victim of his own success.

Neither. Whoever loses lost to the best fighter of this era. No shame in losing to the best.

Mayweather was 3/1 underdog against Genaro Hernandez and slight underdog against Corrales. And besides Hoya, when was the last time Pac beat someone he wasn't supposed to beat? He was at least a 2/1 favorite against Cotto and Hatton. He was 8/1 favorite against Clottey. He was the favoite against Diaz and Marquez as well.

I got to say Pacquiao. If they never fight, the general viewpoint by most boxing analysts and fans is that Floyd would win. Additionally, the reasons for there not fighting would reflect far more poorly on Manny than it would on Floyd, as it would likely be due to blood testing.

Both fighers' legacies will suffer if this fight doesn't get made.

Both camps have failed to compromise, for this fight to happen.

Barrera (1st fight), Morales (2nd fight), Oscar. Clear underdog in all those fights.

Add to this that there were very, very reasonable grounds to believe that both Cotto and Hatton could beat him on a size and strength basis alone.

No contest here, Mayweather absolutely needs Pac more than Pac needs Mayweather.

After last night, it's just about even. It looks like Mayweather is ready to make the fight if Pac agrees to the tests.
