You totally missed the point. Manny doesn't fight like Castillo who was able to trouble Floyd. I put it in plain English. Do you understand better now?
Actually, my attention to detail is just fine. Manny doesn't have the abilities or hasn't shown the abilities to do the things that have been proven to bother PBF i.e. a sharp jab like DLH and Zab and good in-fighting like Castillo showed. Manny still has a bad habit of coming straight forward and falling in after he punches which Floyd will take advantage of with straight right hands and left hooks. In the second fight with JMM, there were times when Manny looked almost confused as JMM was putting on a boxing clinic. Those moments showed me that Manny really doesn't have a plan B. He knows one way to fight and that is hardly the makings of a smart fighter. Manny is an offensive juggernaut--nothing more. He blasts through opposition with his offense and has never had to rely on his defense like he will when he gets into the ring with Floyd. see what I did there?
whatever argument you present no one can say that he's right or wrong until they get in the ring. both sides' argument were merely personal opinion/assessment. after the fight bump this thread, from there you will know who has ingenuine analysis and who will eat crows.
However, what we do know about PBF is that he is ducking the Top welters while being in the division for quite a few years now. Hardly, what a true ATG would do.
:good:good:good agree. ****ing depressing really. i am a fan of the guys skill set. but instead of solidifying his claim to greatness by fighting boxers in his weight or above him, he is doing the reverse and feasting on smaller fighters. :-(
